Armstrong Displays the
Red and White After Winning Hammer

Dylan Armstrong capped off a very successful season this past weekend with three Pan American Junior Championships medals. On Saturday, Armstrong won the hammer over his US counterpart, Jacob Freeman, with a personal best throw of 65.63 to win the gold after finishing second in the shot with a throw of 16.16. On Sunday he finished his complete set of medals by earning a bronze medal in the discus with a toss of 49.03. Canada won two other medals in the throws at the games with Nathalie Thenor earning a silver in women's hammer with a season's best throw of 54.54 and Deanna Zelinka earned a bronze with a throw of 43.59 in the javelin.
