Thenor Crushes Canadian Junior RecordAugust 10 1998The Assault on the Canadian Junior Record in women's hammer Continued as Natalie Thenor of Quebec broke Jennifer Joyces short lived record of 53.45m. Competing at the Eitene Desmarteaux in Montreal on Wednesday Aug 5 1998 Thenor threw 55.16m to become the first Canadian Junior to throw over 55m. Thenor, who is still a juvenile, has two more years of junior left while Joyce has one more year. Joyce will be attending school at Berkely in California this fall.
