Snyder Named SEC Athlete of the YearApril 15 1998Brad Snyder was recently named the SouthEastern Conference's (SEC) Male Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the year. Snyder has now won 4 consecutive SEC shot put titles along with this years NCAA championship and was undefeated in this years indoor circuit. He also set a SEC record and Canadian record of 20.32m Snyder recently broke 20m for the first time outdoors when he won the Arizona State Sun Angel Track Classic with a throw of 20.01 which is a NCAA leading throw.
