Indoor Javelin and Discus MeetJavelin or discus at the 25th Annual Vandal Indoor Invitational Track and Field Meet. If we can put together a good field of 5-6 class throwers for the Vandal this year....it will be a go. To enter please contact me at mtkeller@novell.uidaho.edu. Yo are going to have to have a pb of at least 195' or better to be considered. The last time we had this event was 1980 when Ben Plunkett, Crouser, Wilkins, and others competed with the wooden discus out of our concrete ring. 211-7 is the record. The date this year is going to be Friday night aat 6:30 pm. The meet feature running events and two throwing events and the high jump. The date is FEB 12th!Hope to hear from you 190+ and world class guys. This is the only opportunity in the USA for a thrower to compete in the discus. Javelin throwers I need to hear from you....225+ need only apply. The last throwers were Christianson and Stephenson...hello out there.
