Lethbridge Throws Gala and ClinicsBrought to you by Chinook Track Club May 18-20/2001 Cost is $5 per event or $20 for unlimited events for the whole weekend. No charge for coaches. Prizes for winners and Provincial/National records On May 18,19 and 20 the Chinook Track Club will be continuing with the success of the past two years and will be hosting a Throws Gala and Clinics. Over the three days athletes will be able to compete in each of the throws events three times with the exception of javelin. Javelin will only be held twice. This meet is designed to be as flexible as possible while maximizing throws opportunities during the weekend. Athletes in Midget, Juvenile, Junior and Open will be able to compete and juvenile men will have the opportunity to compete with both the 5kg as well as 12lb hammers and shots. If there is enough demand clinics will be offered and the clinics will be geared towards the developmental athlete and coaches will be encouraged to attend. There will be no charge for the coaches.
