As you may be aware, the International Junior Meet is scheduled to take place in Montréal, July 18^th and 19^th, 2000, with confirmed participation by the USA Junior Team. A Canadian Team will be selected from the National Junior Championships in Montréal, and will stay after the Championships to compete at the International Junior Match. Preliminary information and selection criteria for this event are attached.

Athletics Canada would like to take this opportunity to invite an U23 (Canada Games prep squads) team from all Provincial Branches to participate, at their own costs and arrangements. Athlete participation and entry into this event will need to be coordinated through the Provincial Branch.

1-2 athletes per event, per province may be entered depending on the total entries for the meet. Athletics Canada reserves the right to limit the number of entries. Final entries will be due towards the end of June.

Please let us know if you are interested in sending a Provincial team to compete at this match and indicate approximate number of athletes and accompanying Provincial staff. Deadline: May 31, 2000.
