The Success of the Chinook Track and Field club has been greatly affected by the numerous sponsors that have allowed the club to flourish and grow. Chinook Track and Field would like to thank all of its sponsors that have made contributions, financially or otherwise, that have helped the club to be successful.
Alberta Sport, Recreation Parks & Wildlife Foundation: This foundation through its grants programs allowed the club to get past its initial start in 1996 by providing a grant worth $11,995 in 1997 that allowed the club to, amoung other things, build a new hammer cage and buy equipment that allowed the club to train the way it needed to in order to become successful.
The University of Lethbridge:
The University of Lethbridge has allowed Chinook to build its throwing area on its property and service Southern Alberta, Lethbridge, the University of Lethbridge Track and Field team, Lethbridge Track and Field Club, and its own club through this generous partnership. it has also, through a relationship with the Physical Plant Department on campus, and it associate director, Brian Sullivan, been able to develop an indoor throwing area on campus that would otherwise not be available to the University Track team and Chinook Track and Field Club. Both clubs are extremely grateful for this cooperation and partnership.
Rocky Mountain Turf Club and Bullys Sport and Entertainment Centre:
The Rocky Mountain Turf Club (RMTC) and Bullys Sport and Entertainment Centre has made a commitment to helping amateur athletes in Lethbridge and have helped numerous athletes from the community reach their goals. RMTC has been instrumental in helping fundraise to assist international travel for athletes in the Chinook Track Club that have made Canadian National Teams which are self or partially self-funded. A big thanks for their continued support and involvement in the community.

Runners Soul:
Ron Bain, owner of Runners Soul, has ensured that athletes competing with the Chinook Track and Field club are able to purchase quality shoes at a reduced rate. Ron has also been instrumental in acquiring specialty shoes such as throwing shoes and high jump shoes at an affordable price and in a timely fashion. Ron has also sponsored numerous athletes that have been Chinook athletes as well as University Athletes through the Adop-A-Horn program. His help and dedication to the sport is greatly appreciated.
