National and Provincial Record for Steacy
- At the Alberta Last Chance Meet in Edmonton on Dec 26 2000, Jim Steacy established a new Alberta provincial first and second year juvenile record as well as a national best for first year juveniles in weight throw when he threw 19.63m.

Erin Riste will be one of ten Canadian athletes attending the World Junior Championships from Oct 17-23. Riste is presently ranked second in Canada, is the provincial junior record holder, and is ranked third in North America in junior women's hammer.

Pictured at left is Geoff Dolan of the Chinook Track Club. Geoff won the Canadian Outdoor Living Networks All Strength Challenge and won a $26,000 Harley Davidson in the process.
